Why Choose Professional Prints?

Written by Courtney Bryson
You’re hiring a portrait artist
If you’re going through hiring an artist to capture portraits of your dog, or your family, or any event you’re hiring a photographer for you should take full advantage of their talent & skill. The artist can provide access to the best professional prints available.
Choosing the right physical medium for a piece of artwork is a speciality. The artist can help guide you on choosing between a canvas, metal, acrylic, fine art paper, watercolor paper, cotton rag, glossy, and dozens of other options. .

4 Benefits of Professional Printing
- Quality
- Efficiency
- Expertise
- Assurance
Let’s break these down.
QUALITY
Quality is the number one reason I reccomend having a professional print your images from your professional session. A professional photographer has calibrated their computer screens to be accurate displays of the color you’ll receive in your prints. We use the ICC color profiles specific to the professional lab and paper type selected for printing. We’ve sent of numerous test prints so we know exactly what we’ll get back when we send in for printing.
If you’ve ever done a 1 hour photo printing and had your prints come back green or yellow, or way too dark, or too bright, it was most likely due to a calibration issue. Working with a professional will ensure that you will love what you get back and that it will match what you expect.
EFFICIENCY
A professional photographer will take care of everything for you. You don’t need to worry about DIY designing your own albums (I love DIY, but usually things with the word “design” in them are best left to professionals). Trying to choose a consumer lab is overwhelming too. It seems like every time I scroll Instagram I see another new printing company offering to print your memories as cheaply as possible. And honestly, some of them are probably pretty good, but who wants to waste their time and money trying them all out for maybe a diamond in the rough?
Working with a professional means you have access to the best professional labs in the world, and your photographer has already done all the testing, so they stand behind what you order!
EXPERTISE
As an artist, your professional photographer has an eye for design. A professional can help guide you on which images will crop well to a 4 x 5 ratio for a 24 x 30 wall piece and which ones should be kept at a native 3 x 4 ratio so you should choose a 24 x 36 on this image. The professional will work up an album design that pairs the right images together to create a story.
ASSURANCE
When you’re working with a full service professional photographer, we stand behind out work. You can be assured that the art we are sharing with you is produced by the best artisans we can find. I personally guarantee you will LOVE the artowrk we create together, or I’ll give you a full refund.
