In Home Cat Photography Session

In Home Cat Photography
When Shannan first emailed me, she simply asked if I could work with cats on location. I love working for cats. Dogs usually work with me, but cats… I work for them.
For a pet photography session with a cat, I prefer to come to them. An in home, lifestyle session is often the best way to get cats feeling comfortable.
Sweet Mesha hadn’t been feeling her best and her mom wanted to capture images of their bond together to preserve these memories. Mesha was so in love with her mom. She butted her head against her chin, stood on her chest, and they shared some beautiful moments and I was just a fly on the wall.

I was beyond thrilled with my photos! The entire process was seamless, from booking to receiving my photo items. Courtney has a remarkable eye, and a very nice way about her when it comes to interacting with the fur babies. Courtney was instrumental in capturing a very special moment between my ailing cat and I. I am so grateful she was able to capture such beautiful images that will be forever with my family! I highly recommend her services!

Your Pet’s Special Details
Some of my favorite images to capture during a session are the details that make your cat so very special. Mesha’s groomer had recently been by to give her an adorable lion cut and I love her little tail poof.
When you think about your cat, what are the things that immediately connect you to a memory? For my cat, it’s the two or three little white furs on his chest in his all black fur. Or maybe, his adorable one pink pad on his back foot.
Details are what bring a memory alive. It’s like when you smell that combination of vanilla & cinnamon and you’re right back in your grandmother’s kitchen and suddenly you’re 6 years old again and eating homemade apple pie with a scoop of Mayfield vanilla ice cream because grandparents are totally allowed to spoil you and give you double servings of sugar.
