Updating Family Photos
Penny & I go way back. Penny was surrendered to my rescue, the Rescue Ranch, two and half years ago and was expecting puppies! One of her puppies is now my Lira, who you see plastered all over everywhere, lol!
Penny was adopted by Lisa, who is also the adoption coordinator for the Rescue Ranch. Then back in January, Rigby came into the rescue, and Lisa immeadiately knew he was going to be the perfect playmate for Penny, so Lisa adopted Rigby.
Lisa and I had done some beautiful images of her with Penny shortly after Penny’s adoption, and now that Rigby had joined the family it was time to update their photos!
Lakeside at Fort Yargo
After photographing Pixie a couple weeks at Fort Yargo (see more here), Lisa and I thought it would be the perfect location for some relaxed family portraits. We made sure to capture a few images of Lisa with just Rigby to go along with the photos she has of her and Penny, as well as photographing the three of them together.
One of the things clients often request are images of their dogs together. Getting two dogs to look in the same direction at the same time, be relatively still, and all in the same frame can defintely present some challenges. Luckily, I only need 1/2000th of a second to get a great picture. And even if your dogs can’t both be in the same place at the same time, we can work a little post production magic to create the image you’re dreaming of!
Puppy Personality
One thing that neither Penny or Rigby lack in, is personality. In this series of images their personalities really shine, from Penny’s goofy grin to Rigby’s puppy dog eyes these images are what will bring every detail of who they are to life.
I can’t wait for the prints of these images to arrive! They are going to jump right off the page!
