This week’s theme is rule of thirds.
I selected this image of Van Dyke, an adoptable dog at the Humane Society of Morgan County, because he I love the way he fills the frame and seems so happy. His eyes also line up along the top third line.
I enjoyed thinking a little more about composition this week and I’m looking forward to getting to try out some of things I learned reading articles when I get to get back outside to shoot. While I am having fun playing with some bright backdrops in a makeshift “studio” while it’s been so cold, my favorite place to shoot is outside and I’m looking forward to getting back out!
