I’m really enjoying the push to blog each and every week with the Pet Photography Project 52! This week’s theme is “Fill the Frame”.
Fill the Frame basically refers to filling the photo with your subject. This has ALWAYS been one of my favorite ways to photograph just about anything, I love a close up!
Here are a couple of my favorite images that fill the frame.
- The Red Kong
- Cora
- Willa
- Karli
Filling the Frame comes very naturally for me, so lately I have been trying to challenge myself to step back, plan a composition, use negative space, and not to crowd my subject. Here are a few of my new attempts:
- Waiting on the Train
- Frank
- Liam
What do you think? Do you like a little extra space? Or do you prefer images that fill the frame?
The Pet Photography Project 52 posts are part of a blog circle. I love the station image; lovely image that conveys a sense of motion.
I love participating in the 52 week project too! I love photographing Frenchies so I’m partial to that image. 🙂
Love images that fill the frame and love your photos.
All of the shots are great, but I think your preference for the tighter images is a strength that helps them standout.
Love the train station image! The lighting is perfect!!
Wonderful images. That smile is my favorite. 🙂
Willa licking her nose is my favorite! Great use of the Dutch angle too 🙂
Karli sure looks like a happy girl!! 🙂
Loved all the images, but Cora’s eyes drew me in. Great job on this week’s theme!
Love Willa’s image. Great take on this topic.
Lovely images. Karli is a gorgeous dog.
The Red Kong is my favorite.
Wonderful images! Love Karli and that magical smile!
Nice work! I think Karli has to be my favourite image!
