Historic Downtown - Rutledge, GA

122 Fairplay St, Rutledge, GA 30663

The Historic District in Rutledge, Georgia is a unique setting filled with charm. This location is known for its red barrel with four stop signs in the town center instead of stoplights. Some of the old architecture is decorated with exquisite murals that represent the history of Rutledge. In the Historic District we find brick pathways, weathered wooden siding, aged brick walls, and painted doors. In the early spring, we can also find low growing beautiful light purple wisteria.
