Photography for Real Dogs

—No Perfection Required

Every dog has his day - let’s plan yours

You don’t just want a photo of your dog.

You want to feel the way they lean into you when they were tired.

You want to see the sparkle in their eyes when you said "walk?"

You want to remember way they made your house feel like home.

That’s why every Signature Session is custom designed with your dog in mind.

The little things that aren’t little at all—are the things that make your dog yours.

But, can your dog do this?

While champion obedience dogs and those who perform tricks off-leash are allowed…

The dogs I photograph most are:

The silly dogs, the wild dogs, the happy dogs, the anxious dogs, the reactive dogs, the show dogs, the sports dogs, the working dogs —

They are your dog, your best friend, your perfectly loved companion—that’s who I photograph.

No obedience or training required.

You don't have to have it all figured out yet.
You just have to know you never want to forget this season with your dog.

Picture this:

You’re walking down the hallway, coffee in hand, and there they are with ears perked and eyes sparkling, that same look they gave you every morning.

Only now it’s captured forever in the artwork you pass every day. A piece of artwork that doesn’t just match your home

—it matches your heart.

Every time you glance up and see them there,
you’ll remember what it feels like to love a dog the way you do

They’re your family.
Your daily dose of chaos and comfort.
The reason you smile when no one’s watching.

You’re here because you know one thing for sure:
Their story deserves more than just countless phone photos and "someday" plans.

One day, you'll want to remember the little things — the head tilt, the paw on your knee, the way they looked at you like you were their whole world.

And that's exactly why I'm here.

“Thank you for doing such a great job with Wyatt's photos and album. I am so thankful to have photos of Wyatt that capture his joy and that I'll be able to enjoy for years to come.”

Why hire a pro?

You could keep taking your dog’s photo with your phone…

and keep getting blurry blobs attached to leashes & not so flattering selfies.

Or you could call your friend who photographs weddings…

but has no idea how to work with dogs, and frankly doesn’t appreciate the charm of a slobbery kiss from a giant tongue.

And you can order your own artwork from those places online…

and spend hours researching before giving up and just posting to Instagram where they’ll be lost in the feed in hours.

But there is a better way to have your dog photographed.

Imagine instead:

  • An experience crafted by an expert

  • 10+ years of dog behavior training & experience

  • A selection gallery of 35+ images

  • Heirloom quality custom album options

  • Professionally designed wall art for your home

  • $1,000 credit towards any collection

  • A stress free photo shoot experience

  • And digital files to archive and share on social media

“But, my dog would NEVER sit still for photos!”

And other Frequently Asked Questions

  • YES! And even better, you’ll get both — digital files AND art. Because you DESERVE both!

You don’t smile every time you walk pass that drawer of CDs, but you absolutely do when you walk pass your dog’s photo on the wall. Flipping the pages of your album you can feel his soft furry body while you snuggled in the grass. Your hands remember how warm his fur was after an afternoon in the sunshine. This is what physical artwork can do that digital just cannot.

Don’t get me wrong, I love digital files too. I want the home screen on my phone to be my dog and I want to share her adorable photos all over social media.

That’s why collections include high resolution digital files.

  • Want to know a secret?

98% of the dogs you see on my website were wearing a leash!

Or inside a secure fence! And sometimes both!

With the magic of photoshop, I can create the off leash artwork you want while keeping your pet safe.

  • Yep!

I’m stilling looking to beat my current PR of 11 dogs for one family, so bring on the multi dog families!

Your reservation fee covers ALL the animals in your immediate family (including cats, horses, hedgehogs, & more) and I’d be delighted to meet them all!

  • I have one simple rule — I photograph people so long as they bring a pet too!

I encourage you to get in the photos with your dog. Even if you don’t love being photographed, most of my clients find they love images that show their relationship. And these are the photos that become only more valuable with time.

I also photograph high school seniors, families, and children with their dogs and /or horses.

  • First, I am so sorry. Our dog’s lives are tragically short.

I make every effort to photograph end of life sessions as soon as possible and will do everything in my power to see you quickly. Please letme know when inquiring if you need an urgent session.

“I loved the location, the editing, and the entire session itself.

Seeing Courtney get down and dirty on the ground, in order to get good shots, was very encouraging and showed me that she truly cared about making sure we had good pictures from every angle.

I am so thankful that Courtney was able to capture my dogs’ personalities and perfection in her pictures.”

3 Simple Steps

Step 1: Dream It

Start by imagining how you want to live with your images:

  • A statement piece that feels like an oil painting?

  • A gallery wall that showcases your relationship?

  • An album you’ll flip through a hundred times?

Step 2: Create It

During your session, your dog leads the way—no expectations for perfect poses. Just authentic moments, expert guidance, and a lot of treats and laughter.

Step 3: Live With It

You’ll walk away with more than digital files—you’ll have finished custom artwork crafted for your home and your story.

As you walk through your home, you’ll be surrounded by so much more than just pretty pictures—you'll feel your dog's love story, the sun on their fur, and the joy you share.

This is art that feels like home — because it starts with the heart of your home: your dog.
