Hi! I’m Courtney —
When I was a kid, my best friends were dogs and my horse Ginger.
They taught me about loyalty, about joy, about unconditional love—and about the kind of connections that shape a life.
Today, as a professional dog photographer serving Atlanta and beyond, those early lessons are still the heart of everything I do.
Because when you invite me to photograph your dog or your horse, you're not just booking a session.
You're trusting me to help you hold onto the story you’re living right now—before it turns into a memory.

Why I Photograph Dogs & Horses
If you’re like me, your dog isn’t “just a dog” and your horse isn’t “just a horse”.
They’re your heartbeat, your shadow, who you want to come home to everyday.
When my dog, Sissy, passed away in 2013, I realized I didn't have the portraits I now create for my clients.
I had a few cell phone snapshots—and a heart full of "I wish I had..." moments.
That loss became a promise:
No one else should have to wish they had more.
I started this business to give you what I didn't have—the ability to walk past a framed portrait and feel that love living on, every single day.
My life has been shaped by the animals I’ve shared it with and I wouldn’t be where I am today - sitting on the front porch of my little farmhouse in the country with my wife - if I didn’t share my life with some pretty incredible animals.
My favorite part
The best part of my job (besides being able to meet all the pets) is seeing my client’s face when they see their artwork for the first time. There is something really magical about seeing the images on screen and then seeing those pixels become real artwork for your home.
Because, while digital files are great for Instagram & the wallpaper on your phone, nothing quite makes you smile like walking past your favorite furry face on the wall.
And nothing makes memories more real than holding an album in your hands and turning the pages on all your gorgeous images.
While my canine clients might say all the treats at the session are their favorite part of the experience, my fellow dogs people know that having someone walk you through all the choices and delivering finished, ready to display artwork is why they choose to work with me.

What It’s Like to Work Together
I keep sessions relaxed, playful, and pet-paced.
I help you visualize your portraits as finished, tangible artwork for your home—not just files on a screen.
I guide you through every step, from preparing for your session to choosing the perfect images to display.
My goal is simple:
To tell your dog’s story in a way that feels like coming home.

It’s simple —
Love your images or I’ll refund you 100% and make a $100 donation in your dog’s name to animal rescue.
A Few Things to Know About Me
I live on a small farm with my wife, Renee, and a very opinionated group of dogs, goats, pigs, donkeys, and one very bossy horse.
I founded a nonprofit rescue for medically fragile Boston Terriers, Pugs, and French Bulldogs.
I believe every dog deserves to be seen, celebrated, and remembered—with the kind of love they give so freely.
At the end of the day, everything I do—every photo I take—is rooted in gratitude for the animals who have shaped my life.
Because this isn’t about “just” photos. It’s about honoring the relationships that changed your life.
From the first conversation to the final framed portrait on your wall, I'm here to make the process easy, joyful, and deeply meaningful.
You won’t have to worry if your dog "won’t sit still" or if "they’re too shy"—because the best photos happen when we let them be exactly who they are. (Like my pup Carolina over there.)
The result?
Artwork that doesn’t just show what your dog looks like—it captures who they are to you.
